Play then continues on to the second tee where the method is repeated. The player who starts the following round is that player who took the smallest amount of swings to sink the golfing ball into the hole.

Equipment

The basics of golfing instruction 101 are that to play the game a player wishes basic kit. That hardware includes golfing clubs and bag, golfing balls, and tees. Typically the clubs consist of two drivers, irons and a putter.

The drivers are generally used to initially drive the ball down the fairway towards the golf hole being played.  The contact portion of the driver is flat in nature.  The irons are numbered from two to nine with the contact area varying at different angles.  The nine irons are designed with the greatest angle.

Golf instruction also requires standardization. Therefore, the golf ball must weigh 1.62 ounces, be circular in shape and be no larger than 1.68 inches in diameter. Generally, the balls are marked with a brand name and number so that there is no confusion as to which player is playing which ball.

The golfing tee can be made of varied materials including wood and plastic. Golfing tees are largely small platforms for the golfing ball when teeing off. One end of the tee is spike like and is put into the ground with the other end of the tee formed like a small platform to hold the ball.

Golfing Etiquette

Any golfing instruction should include the fundamentals of golf etiquette. Golf etiquette, as a part of a golfing instruction program, should teach the novice as well as remind experienced players of correct custom.

Two basic guidelines of golf etiquette include permitting players behind you to play thru. Maybe there are 4 players who are prepared to tee off and a golf party of 2 arrives at the same time or the team of 4 is delayed on the golf green for who knows what reason. Golf etiquette means that the 2 players be permitted to play thru or play before the team composed of 4. This pleasantness allows for the smaller team's play not to be held up.

When putting your golf ball into play,etiquette requires that you wait till those playing ahead are safely clear of any golfing drive played. However, if a shot is taken and is dangerously close to hitting another player golfing etiquette requires that you yell out “fore.”
