Every golfer dreams of the perfect golfing holiday. Both serious and amateur golfers take St Andrews seriously. If you're thinking of spending a golf holiday in St Andrews, you're certainly not alone.
St Andrews golfing packages -To get budget-aligned and satisfying St Andrews golfing packages, some people prefer to do it themselves. Here are effective tips to help you organise for that time off for golf you've always wanted.
Some foresight helps pave the way for the fun. Weather in Scotland is unpredictable, but you have better chance of agreeable weather in the summer months. If you don't like thick throngs of people, you should book your stay on April and October. If you have to schedule leave from work, you might as well plan your load to be light on those months. Or secure some time off. If you have kids, you can probably have them stay with your relatives.

Tourists to France who bring along their golf clubs will not be disappointed or have to face the challenges of arranging tee times as they typically do when visiting Scotland and Ireland. In France there are 280,000 registered golfers for 340 courses. This translates into lots of available tee times and no crowds on a course.
There is ample space in front of you and behind you while playing golf in France. Golfers can usually walk in on their own almost impromptu and make their own tee times at courses in France. An unhurried pace of play results from this opportunity for tee times.

Have you ever considered golf schools as potential venues for your annual vacation? Or even for a short winter break? Some lucky people have a vacation in the spring, summer fall and winter, but most only have the one or perhaps two. Why not make one a golfing holiday, with some golf instruction thrown in?
After all, if you are like me and every other golfer I know, you probably need some instruction. All golfers require professional coaching once in a while; even the top pros take their personal instructors on tour with them, or have a favorite teacher that they pop in to see now and again if they have a specific problem. It doesn't have to be a massive problem, just a slight tendency to slice or hook now and again. It still needs fixed.

Golf in India is well established as a sport which has been played since the nineteenth century. Earlier considered an elite sport, golf in India is now being increasingly accessible to the public, thanks to the many public golf courses which have sprung up around the country. The emergence of top Indian golfers such as Jeev Milkha Singh, Shiv Kapur, Arjun Atwal and others have contributed to this sport slowly starting to catch the imagination of an otherwise cricket loving population.
In India, whether you are a professional or an amateur golf tourist, you will find a wide variety of golf courses which suit your game. There are golf courses in the picturesque hill stations of Shimla, Naldhera, Ooty and Kodaikanal, golf courses next to monuments (Qutub Golf Club in New Delhi , with the Qutub Minar monument as a backdrop), designer golf courses (such as the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurgaon designed by Arnold Palmer) and golf courses in luxury hotels. Luxury hotels which possess golf courses in India are The Inter-Continental and The Leela in Goa, to name a few.

The sport of golf in India has a long history, dating back from 1829, when the Royal Calcutta Golf Club was founded in the city of Kolkata by the British. This golf course is said to be the oldest golf course in the world outside of Britain. In recent years, there has been a development of world class golf courses in India and many tourists flock to the country to play in these courses. Indian golf courses are broadly divided into four types: designer golf courses, golf courses in hill stations, golf courses located next to historic monuments and golf courses in luxury hotels (open to their guests).
