The Key Golf TrainerThe Key -- Golf Swing Trainer The right hand (for right handed players) can be a good golf friend or a swing destroying enemy. It all depends on how one uses it. Ben Hogan once commented that he wished he "had two right hands", providing of course his left one arrived first. Thats what the Key makes possible. It positions the right hand correctly, similarly to Hogans, thus helping provide the delayed hit for greater distance and more consistent accuracy. Correct right hand release, aided by the Key, also discourages both fat and thin shots with the irons. Even putting and chipping benefits as the right hand becomes correctly positioned. The Key is pre-bent to fit the wrist position of most hands. One of the Keys distinct advantages, however, is that it is malleable and can be adjusted to fit any hand. Of all the important points about this outstanding product, don't overlook the fact that The Key is the ONLY wrist brace on the market that is both adjustable, and does not restrict your fingers! The player retains full manual dexterity, but is discouraged from forcing the shot with the right side. When using the Key, start by hitting short pitch shots of 40-60 yards to get the feel of how the body rotation provides the power rather than the hands. Gradually increase the swing length until you are hitting full shots. The Key is pre-bent at the factory to a setting of 50 degrees. You may adjust the bend if desired when hitting full shots. The Key may also be used on the left hand for feeling solid impact for either the chip, pitch, putt or full swing. You can accomplish this by bending the unit back to level and slightly beyond (to about 10 degrees beyond straight) so it encourages the left wrist to be slightly convex. It is best if you use a left-handed Key for this, since it is designed for the left hand, but the right-handed model can be comfortably used. Don't wait another minute to improve your game. Learn Dr. Gary Wiren's Key to better golf; you'll find it's no Secret. If you have any questions about this product or would like to order by phone, please call us Toll Free at 888-733-8383. Playing golf relaxed and confidently makes for a much better game than being frightened at the thought of the hazards. Fear is not something that you should take along with you to the driving range.
When a good player begins to have problems, they are usually mental in nature. Clear thinking should be your main goal in playing golf. When you start to feel fearful, clear thinking is not possible.
If you can change your thinking, you can help your game. There is no need to worry about why the ball went the way it did. Keep your mind on the next shot and focus.

It's all here: The crossover of the hands, wrists and forearms through and beyond impact is one of the movements (perhaps the key movement) that defines good ball-strikers and their mechanics.
The upper arms are passive as the right hand and forearm 'snap' over the left a sure sign of a full, committed release of energy through the ball.
The great Henry Cotton always stressed the importance of 'educating the hands', and for me he nailed the essence of the swing. Down the ages, the game's greatest players have all made the same basic mechanical movement (i.e. a body turn coupled with a wrist hinge); they play with a hand action that both conducts and multiplies the energy created by the body all the way down through the shaft and into the clubhead. It's no coincidence that the greatest names in golf have all shared a wonderful hand action.

PivotforPowerPivotforPower THE PivotForPower works because it teaches the transition weight shift move. Golf pros teach students to propel the clubhead to the ball along or from inside the target line by clearing his hips before impact. Students learn to lead their downswing with lower body, their hips turning toward the target before their shoulders and arms come around. A golfer must PLANT his front leg post by shifting his weight to his front leg. As he shifts weight and posts, his back foot heel raises. Earlier is better. Early weight transfer is the defining difference between pros and amateurs. Ben Hogan said when he made this video clip that starting the downswing with lower body is The most important thing in the golf swing. Then he demonstrates the transition weight shift in this video clip. Ben Hogan wrote in Five Lessons page 90 (paraphrasing) that we can focus on only one or two key movements during the downswing. He wrote, The HIPS INITIATE THE DOWNSWING. They are the pivotal element in the chain action. Starting the downswing with hips practically MAKES the downswing. It creates early speed. It transfers the weight from the back to the front foot. It takes the hips out of the way and gives your arms plenty of room to pass. Bobby Jones wrote extensively about this in his book, Bobby Jones on Golf pp 145. The duffer cannot do better than to resolve never to permit his club head to cross the projected line of flight in back of the ball. and The hips must be shifted quickly toward the front along the line of play.. From SLAP Swing Like A Pro, pp. 102, The transition move is what gives a great golf swing its undeniable sense of rhythm, grace, and flow. You'll hit the ball farther than you ever thought possible, with less effort than you probably are applying now. Although the main purpose of the transition weight shift move is to produce power, it has the nice residual effect of allowing the correct swing path to occur. One of the main reasons most golfers fade or slice is because they're unable to move the lower body out of the way of the upper body and club. The transition move serves to remove this obstacle by initiating an early power body shift toward the target.

Birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries bring dreams of beautiful gifts to the minds of some and feelings of dream to the hearts of others. Golf enthusiasts can be some of the easiest people to please if you know what to look for when considering their favorite activity.
Sportsmen share an energetic spirit and positive fanaticism of golf. They love to remember great games they had, thus a gift that triggers a great memory for them will put you at the top of their favorite people list. Consider the personalized gift of a scrap book to help your golfer remember his best times on the green. Research your subject to find out which pro your golf enthusiast emulates. Then find the souvenir that will really make him smile like a club with Tiger Woods' signature or a Ben Hogan shirt. Sports and souvenir shops also offer stuffed toys and other unique gifts for the hard-to-shop-for golfer, so you don't need to worry about finding something not to suit your loved one's taste.

Where do we, as struggling weekend amateurs, find the best golf tips? Of course we all have the playing partners who are never shy to lend advice when we are struggling, but we don't want to go down that road if we truly have a desire to improve our game, do we? What I'm saying is why would you listen to the advice of somebody who plays as bad or worse than you, even if the advice is well intentioned?
That leads us back to the original question, where do we find the best golf tips? There are dozens of answers to that simple question. There are fantastic programs on The Golf Channel if you have access to it. There are also short segments on the weekly network coverage of the professional tours that give great advice.
