While every putter must know how to putt, he has to get the ball off the tee with a strong swing before he does anything else. With practice and concentration, any golfer can learn to perfect his swing. All swings have a few common elements that make up the fundamentals of golf.
The Grip
When gripping a club, circle your left hand around the club so you have a V between the thumb and index finger. Stretch the tension from finger to the shoulder. Overlap your right hand over the left thumb and vice versa. Make your V shape create a line that leads to the chin. Apply light pressure to both hands.

Virtually every golfer knows the importance of flexibility for a good golf swing, but not everybody has fully accepted the key role that flexibility exercises can play. In fact, the percentage of golfers who consistently stretch for golf is a minority percentage. Why is this when every golfer knows stretching would improve their golf swing, not hinder it?
Few understand exactly why flexibility exercises have made such a huge difference for the golf swings of many a golfer. They are totally surprised and actually puzzled as to why this new exercise wave has swept across the game and is proving not to be just a fad but something that will continue to be a part and parcel of the game for many years to come.

History of Golf
Golf first originated in Scotland (gowf in Scots) and has
been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles.
There were no golf schools present at that time but likely
now there are millions even trillions of golf schools, golf
channels, golf magazines and golf websites which provide
very effective golf instructions, golf lessons and even
very useful golf tips.
Well golf is a game of hitting a ball into a hole by an
individual or a team. Golf doesn’t need a fixed standard
playing area and is mostly organized by the clubs. Some
basic golf instructions are given below:
1 Always maintain your body balance before start playing golf.
2 Carefully watch the ball and focus on it.
3 The ball should be hit in the center of the club face.
4 After hitting the shot keep an eye on the ball if it miss
then try again.
5 Be prepared mentally and physically for the achievement of
your goal. 8 to 10 shots per round are needed.

A well executed golf back swing is not just dependent on the arms of the golfer but also on the golfer's back as he turns away from the target. The golf swing is more of the motion of putting the golf club behind the golfer's back than swinging it through the air. Here are some surefire tips to improve your golf swing and your game dramatically.
1. The move backswing
If you observe it closely, the golf back swing actually works from up to down. The takeaway back swing begins from the top as you make the movement on your arms and follows as you do that turn on your shoulders. The movement then goes straight down towards the legs and the hips.
The golf back swing is primarily about how the body is being coiled upwards thus creating the needed tension in the muscles as well as torque to be able to let out that all powerful downswing. Particularly, that swing is created anywhere in between the golfer turning his or her upper body as well as shoulders and the turning, to a lesser degree, the lower body and the hips.

As an amateur golfer you'll get plenty of advice on improving your golf swing; some of it good and some of it not so good. It never fails to amaze me the number of times a golfer will seek advice on a particular area but not practice the new technique. Practice is the key to improving your golf swing. Let's explore some areas of your game that could need some tuning up.
The Thumb Theory
Maintaining a correct grip on the club during the back swing is vital. It's not just the initial grip on the club that's important; keeping your thumb pointing towards the heavens at the half way mark of the swing is essential. Imagine this in your mind before playing the shot and memorize it. As the club comes back at the midway point of the swing, the thumb, which initially points towards the ground, should be pointing towards the sky before you come down and follow through with the swing.
