There used to be a disparity between men's professional sports and women's professional sports. The major disparity was in the cash prizes for women's professional sports. It used to be that the prize money difference was more than half of what men used to get, then what women were receiving. This rebellion against such differences was done in the field of tennis, with the ringleaders being Billie Jean King and Rosie Casals who in 1973 organized what is now the Women's Tennis Association. By getting majority of the women tennis players on board, eventually, the prize money was increased to more acceptable levels and just recently, in the last ten years or so, this disparity has slowly disappeared. Now, in the major grand slam events, equal prize money is given to the men and women's singles tournament competition. This parity now has some form of criticism as in the major grand slam tournaments like the Australian Open, The French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open, men have to play the best five set matches, while women only have to play best of three matches. While silently, there may be mutterings of the tournament format, the importance of having same cash prizes for both men and women events is that it puts a premium and prestige for all the hard work and practice hours women sports professionals undertake as well. After all, they do the same amount of work and practice, if not more as men do.

Mizuno Golf Clubs
Perhaps at a yard sale or a thrift store you found a second hand club. Initially you passed it up, but then all of a sudden you had a minute of inspiration and made a decision to take the club home with you. Your inspiration is to transform that old used golfing club into something unique and galvanizing for that person in your life who enjoys the game of golfing.
Life provides many opportunities of giving gifts to honor special accomplishments like anniversaries or birthday. What smarter way to laud that individual than with a customized unique present that captures the celebration and the person's love for the game of golfing. 3 such uplifting uses for that used golfing club may include the following concepts.

Professional golfers are not only very talented, but they play smart, strategic golf. And it is the "smart, strategic..." that separates them from the good amateurs and the average club professional. They know how to stay in the moment and avoid distractions by being very focused when it comes to hitting that golf shot.
Yes, they practice for hours so that they can repeat that golf swing over and over again consistently; and they practice virtually every shot they will face when the tournament begins but all good golfers do that. But just as important as it is to making the shots, you have to know where to place those shots to get that right angle to the pin to get those extra birdies and eagles to get into the win column.
Golf is not an easy game at any level.

You can find golf swing tips online or you can buy one of the many golf swing lessons e-books. Many of these tips on golf swing techniques go into a lot of detail; at times, too much detail. If you have a swing fault, what you need are a few basic golf swing tips - whether it is to learn more about the short game in golf or to fix a slice.
5 Tips on How to Drive Long
To be able to shoot lower scores, one of the best ways is to gain more golf distance off the tee. When you have a shorter distance to the green you have more chance to score par or better. Of course, you need accuracy as well as distance; otherwise you will be in a worse situation. Here are 5 quick and easy tips to help you drive long off the tee:

Let's face it. Playing golf is not one of the most economical sports in the world. Unlike basketball where a single ball is needed for two teams to play and maybe, just maybe, some specialized shoes, a golfer requires a lot more gear to get going and that gear, or at least some of it, will have to be replaced from time to time. With this in mind, smart golfers often look for good golf discount store locations to help them keep their passion in financial check.
Considering the expense of golf doesn't stop when all the gear is purchased, it is particularly smart to save money where possible. After all, a golfer will likely also have to pay for greens fees, cart rentals, perhaps even a caddy and more. So, saving a little here and there without sacrificing quality is a good idea.

There is no doubt that the approach shot to the green is one of the most important shots in your golf game. Hit it high and tight to the pin and you're set up for an excellent birdie opportunity. Hit thin or fat and you're set up for a bogey opportunity or even worse. This is why you need to spend time on the practice range hitting approach shots.
I see many higher handicap golfers struggle with their approach shots into the green. It's understandable as this shot can be a little tricky, but you it certainly doesn't have to get the best of you. Here is a golf teaching aid designed to help you improve your approach shots and begin hitting more greens in regulation. Let's get started.

Do you ever feel like you know just enough about golf gifts to be dangerous? Let's see if we can fill in some of the gaps with the latest info from golf gifts experts.
See how much you can learn about golf gifts when you take a little time to read a well-researched article? Don't miss out on the rest of this great information.
Ladies golf is fact becoming the thing women do in their spare time. It is no wonder why it is such a popular sport. Whether you have a lady golfer in your life or you are one, there are many unique and customized lady golfer accessories from which to choose.
When it comes to clubs. Balls and tees the female flair for pretty things is not lost. Flower shaped golf tees may actually seem a little over the top to some but others may find that to be just what they had in mind. A feminine grip for golf clubs would in some cases be much smaller than the males so this is another area where the lady style would accommodate and flatter the female golfer. Perhaps golf balls that were pink might seem just the thing for a lady golfer, however using any color or type golf ball is also an option.

Serious, even dangerous threats can eventuate by improperly maintaining your golf cart’s batteries.
A lack of knowledge about basic golf cart battery maintenance can lead to all kinds of problems. Some users assume that the batteries that operate their golf carts are maintenance-free. However, the key to achieving optimum performance and long life is a solid golf cart battery maintenance program.
It is recommended that you obtain following equipment for use in golf cart battery care and maintenance:
A wrench; distilled water; a voltmeter (an instrument used for measuring the voltage between two points in an electric circuit); a hydrometer (a tool used to measure the specific gravity of the electrolyte solution); a post cleaner; some baking soda; petroleum jelly and possibly the most of all – goggles and gloves.

In this age of information at your fingertips, one can find almost anything for sale and golf carts are no exception though they are not as easy to find as street cars. What exactly do you look for in a golf cart for sale, is it price, features, or originality?
Purchasing a golf cart is like purchasing a car as you need to do your homework and find out exactly what you want, what you need, and what sets the cart apart from any other golf cart for sale out there.
Price
Finding pricing info on golfing carts could be the toughest part of your research. Without going down to a dealer and having them attempt to sell you one, there appears to be a restricted amount of info online about how much a golfing cart for sale will run you.
